Her Matters

with Bandit Design Group

Tagline, website

I first reached out to Bandit Design Group in early-2022 because I love their work and philosophy. One year later, I had the opportunity to work with them: to create a tagline and write website copy for their client, Her Matters.

Her Matters, a female-founded medical clinic in Canberra, ACT, offers a vibrant and fresh take on women’s healthcare. The client was determined to push the creative and playful boundaries for her business and brand.

My approach:

Striking the balance between a bold, vibrant and playful personality and professionalism was mandatory.

In keeping with such a fun business name, I used wordplay extensively, especially around the word ‘matter’. This is seen especially in the calls-to-action, such as “Ready to take care of your matters?” and “Let’s talk about what matters.”

I stepped into the ideal customer’s shoes and pinpointed common pain points to write hooks that are highly-relatable — in a conversational and humorous tone. They were followed up with clear messaging in a trustworthy tone to win confidence.

For example: “In and out in 10 minutes with just a referral or script and zero chairside manner? Not us. Regardless of what stage of life or the diagnosis process you’re navigating, we’re here to provide exceptional service and peace of mind.”

Despite the playful language, readability is very high across the entire website.

A huge thank you to Bandit Design Group whose collaboration and creativity helped me elevate my work.

For your whole being — healthcare for women, by women.
That feeling when your doctor actually listens to you — we’re all about it at Her Matters.

They Matters (TRANSGENDER & NON-BINARY HEALTH).
At Her Matters, every individual matters to us — and we walk the talk (actually, we stride!). We uphold a gender-affirming environment; come as all you are and don’t doubt for a second that you’ll receive the most suitable and attentive care. We practise in accordance with the informed consent model too; it’s your life, your gender, your body, your choice.”

Which services do I need a referral for? Nada, zilch, zip! As part of our quest to make women’s health more accessible, you don’t need that official-looking slip of paper with your doctor’s scrawl on it. But if you DO have one from your GP or specialist, please send it to reception@hermatters.com.au before your appointment.”
